The Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC) has appointed Mrs Mariah Olasehinde, a former state house correspondent of TVC as its Deputy Director, New Media.

Mr Silas Agara, the National Coordinator of the group, said this in a letter in Abuja on Monday.

“I wish to convey to you the decision of Planning and Strategy Committee (PSC) of his Excellency, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC Presidential candidate in the 2023 general election to appoint you as Deputy Director, New Media, Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council,” he said.

He said that the appointment was due to Olasehinde’s track record as a grassroots mobiliser, while urging her to use her experience as a veteran broadcaster to mobilise votes for Tinubu/Shetima in 2023 poll.

Olasehinde, currently Chief Executive Officer, Marbays Communications Ltd, graduated from the University of Abuja and served with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Channel 10, Lagos.(NAN)
