Diddy’s High-Profile Defense Team Reportedly Earned $7M–$8M in Criminal Case

Sean Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, reportedly spent between $7 million and $8 million on legal representation during his nearly two-year federal criminal case, according to reports citing sources familiar with the matter.

The reported legal expenses covered a team of trial and appellate attorneys, including Marc Agnifilo, Teny Geragos, Brian Steel and Nicole Westmoreland, who represented the music executive following his arrest in New York in September 2024.

Federal prosecutors charged Combs with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

After an eight-week trial in 2025, a jury acquitted him of the racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges but convicted him on two counts of violating the Mann Act by transporting individuals across state lines for the purpose of prostitution.

In October 2025, a federal judge sentenced Combs to 50 months in prison. He is currently serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix.

Recent reports also claim that Combs was briefly placed in solitary confinement following an altercation with another inmate. According to the reports, the disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation before prison officials intervened.

However, neither prison authorities nor Combs’ legal representatives have publicly confirmed or commented on the reported incident.
