Globacom has unveiled a new brand campaign, “Never Settle For Less,” alongside four products aimed at delivering greater value and seamless digital experiences to its customers.

The telecommunications company unveiled the campaign and products at a media event held at its headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, as it marked 23 years of operations in Nigeria.

Globacom said the campaign was designed to encourage Nigerians to pursue their goals and aspirations and demand greater value in their everyday experiences.

The company said the message also reflected the growing importance of digital technology in supporting personal and business development.

Uche Ogwuda, who delivered the welcome address at the event, said digital services had become powerful tools for transforming lives and supporting ambitions.

“Digital services have become a powerful force for transforming lives.

“People who understand how technology can support their ambitions also understand the importance of never settling for less,” she said.

Ogwuda said the company had introduced four offerings designed to provide more benefits and improve customer experience.

She said Globacom had enhanced its Glo Talkmasta “6 for 6” tariff plan by increasing the data benefit available to subscribers.

Under the previous offer, customers received six free call minutes and 50MB of data for every six minutes of talk time.

The enhanced package now provides customers with six free call minutes and 100MB of data for every six minutes of talk time.

Globacom also announced an enhanced Welcome Bonus Offer for new customers.

The company said every new customer who purchases and activates a Glo SIM would receive benefits worth ₦2,100.

The package includes 20 minutes of calls to all networks, 2GB of free data and a one-month free subscription to GloTV Premium.

Also unveiled at the event was the Magic Data Bundle, a new data proposition designed to provide customers with a guaranteed data allocation and an additional Magic Bonus Data allocation.

According to Globacom, customers who purchase qualifying bundles will receive the guaranteed data purchased as well as an automatic bonus allocation.

Ogwuda said the bonus data would vary according to a predefined allocation structure.

“The Magic Bonus Data transforms data subscription into a rewarding experience because customers know they will always receive the guaranteed data purchased while also anticipating an additional Magic Bonus,” she said.

The Magic Data Bundle is available at ₦1,600 and ₦3,500 price points, with customers receiving between 500MB and 12GB in bonus data, depending on the bundle purchased.

Globacom said existing and prospective customers could purchase the Magic Data Bundles through the Glo Café application or by dialling *312#.

The company also unveiled an upgraded version of its Glo Café application.

The refreshed application features a redesigned user interface, enhanced security and additional payment options.

A major feature of the upgraded platform is Gloria, an artificial intelligence-powered voice and text assistant designed to help customers find answers, resolve enquiries and discover available offers.

The company said the assistant is available in English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish.

Globacom described Gloria as the first multilingual AI customer service assistant introduced by a Nigerian telecommunications company.

The upgraded Glo Café application also offers benefits for customers, including 100GB of free data for first-time registrations, a 100 per cent bonus on every recharge, special data offers such as 10GB for ₦2,500 and an additional 10 per cent data bonus on bundle purchases.

Some guests at the event also shared personal experiences in line with the campaign’s message.

Fashion entrepreneur, Mai Atafo, recalled leaving a successful corporate career to pursue his passion for fashion, describing the decision as one of the defining moments of his life.

Atafo, now regarded as one of Africa’s leading fashion designers, said the decision reflected the importance of pursuing personal ambitions.

Dr Rueben Abati, a columnist and television anchor, said he had consistently challenged himself to go further rather than settle for less.

He said the mindset had contributed to his career development and commended Globacom for its commitment to innovation.

Abati described innovation as the soul of business across technology, business development, entertainment and other sectors.

He said the telecommunications company had continued to remain competitive by pushing boundaries and introducing new products and services.

Globacom said the new campaign and product offerings reflected its continued focus on innovation, customer value and the use of technology to improve the digital experience of Nigerians.
