EFCC Drops Bombshell: Halimat Adenike Tejuosho Declared Wanted in Shocking Fraud Case

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.

The declaration was made in a notice issued on Monday via the Commission’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle and signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.

According to the notice, the EFCC called on members of the public with useful information regarding Tejuosho’s whereabouts to contact any of its offices nationwide.

The Commission also urged the public to reach out through its official phone lines or email channels, or report to the nearest police station or other security agencies.

Tejuosho is a women leader of the City Boys Movement and was recently appointed as the South-West Zonal Women Leader of the group.

In a prior statement, the movement said her role involved providing strategic leadership and coordinating women-focused initiatives in the region, including political mobilisation, civic engagement, and advocacy.

The EFCC did not disclose further details regarding the allegations but reiterated its commitment to investigating financial crimes and prosecuting offenders.
