Karim Adeyemi Wants Barcelona Move as Catalan Giants Open Negotiations

Spanish football giants Barcelona have reportedly submitted an official bid to Borussia Dortmund for the signing of forward Karim Adeyemi.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between both clubs have commenced, with discussions ongoing over the financial details of a potential deal.

Romano reported that Adeyemi has made Barcelona his preferred destination this summer and is keen on completing the move.

In a post on X, Romano said Barcelona were eager to conclude the transfer as soon as possible.

“BREAKING: Barcelona submit official bid to Borussia Dortmund for Karim Adeyemi.

“Negotiations ongoing with BVB as Gerard Romero reported.

“Adeyemi wants Barcelona as ONLY club to join this summer.

“Barça made their bid and want Adeyemi now, waiting on BVB decision,” Romano wrote.

Barcelona are believed to view the 24-year-old Germany international as a player capable of adding pace, creativity and attacking flexibility to their squad.

Adeyemi enjoyed a productive season with Dortmund, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists, while also making significant contributions beyond his goal statistics.

The forward is regarded as one of the fastest players in European football and has attracted interest due to his ability to operate across different attacking positions.

A deal, however, will depend on Dortmund’s response and whether both clubs can reach an agreement on the transfer fee.
