Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, who is facing allegations of forgery and impersonation over a purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), says he is not hiding from law enforcement agencies but fears for his safety.
Adeyemi made the remarks during an interview on a television programme on Monday.
He said he was prepared to present himself before the authorities but alleged that there had been several attempts on his life.
“I’m ready to show my face. I’m not hiding. I’m only fearing for my life because I have it on good authority that my life is in danger,” he said.
Adeyemi also claimed that there had been multiple attempts on his life but did not disclose further details or identify those allegedly responsible.
His comments come amid continuing controversy surrounding the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), which the Presidency has maintained is not a recognised government agency.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force is preparing to arraign Adeyemi before the Federal High Court in Abuja over allegations of forgery, impersonation and other related offences.
According to the charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, the police accused Adeyemi and two other defendants of eight offences bordering on forgery and impersonation.
Investigators also alleged that before his arrest, Adeyemi operated the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council from the second floor of the Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase III, Abuja.
The allegations against Adeyemi remain before the court, and no judicial determination has been made on the charges. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction.
