MTN Nigeria Congratulates Super Eagles After Win Against Cape Verde

MTN Nigeria has congratulated The Super Eagles for emerging victorious in their World Cup Qualifiers game against Cape Verde on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

The victory cements Nigeria’s position at the top of the group after two rounds of matches in their second-round Group C match at Stadium Aderito Sena.

The win means the Super Eagles have secured six points and are in pole position to qualify to the next round if they sustain their impressive performance.

Congratulating the Super Eagles on their win against Cape Verde, Chief Executive Officer, MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola said, “We congratulate the Super Eagles for their second consecutive victory in their World Cup Qualifiers game this evening.  This is another step in the right direction as we move to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Leaving the international break with two wins from two games will undoubtedly give us renewed confidence for next month’s berth against Central African Republic (CAR). We are proud of this team and are privileged to support them through the World Cup.”

On September 2, 2021, MTN Nigeria and the Nigeria Football Federation signed a partnership deal, making MTN the official communications sponsor of the Super Eagles and other national teams.
