    Honoring a Life of Virtue: Mrs. Grace Akwugo Onwuaso’s Legacy Lives On

    The family of late Chief Raphael Onyechi Onwuaso, Chief Ezeafuluanya 1, Ozumba Omeibuo of Umudioka village, Awka, has announced the burial of their matriarch, Mrs Grace Akwugo Onwuaso.

    Mrs Onwuaso, aka SINGAR, who died on Dec. 18, 2024, at the age of 86, will be laid to rest on March 6.

    According to a statement by the family, a service of songs will hold on March 5 at 5:00 p.m. at her husband’s residence.

    On March 6, a Requiem mass will hold at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Church, Awka, at 10:00 a.m., followed by laying in state at No. 23 Okolobu Street, Umudioka Village, Awka.

    Her son, Rev. Fr. Chukwudi Lawrence Onwuaso, lovingly described her passing as a transition and expressed gratitude for her virtuous life, hoping heaven will be her reward.

    Chief Ikechukwu Felix Onwuaso, the eldest son, encouraged attendees to draw faith and strength from the promise of resurrection.

    Mrs. Grace Akwugo Onwuaso leaves behind a legacy of love and virtue, survived by her six children: Chief Ikechukwu Felix Onwuaso, Mrs. Chinwe Susan Nwogbo, Mr. Obiekwe Christopher Onwuaso, Rev. Fr. Chukwudi Lawrence Onwuaso, Mr. Ugo Francis Onwuaso, and Miss Ebele Winnifred Onwuaso.

    Her family invites all to join them in celebrating a life well-lived and in paying their final respects to a remarkable matriarch.
