MultiChoice Nigeria, a CANAL+ company, has officially unveiled its new DStv and GOtv package line-up under its ‘Expect More’ campaign at a special launch event held at The Royal Box, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, RaveNewsOnline reports.

The Lagos launch brought together media representatives, industry stakeholders, partners and other guests to mark the introduction of the new offering and provide a closer look at what customers can expect from the refreshed packages.

At the event, MultiChoice Nigeria CEO Kemi Omotosho said the new packages were shaped by feedback from subscribers, reflecting what Nigerians have asked for, which is, more value, choice and more content that speaks to them.

Co-hosted by Folu Storms and Deji Osikoya, the evening featured performances from spoken word artist Ibquake and the ensemble, The Loud Choir, who thrilled guests with a medley of some of Nigeria’s biggest songs.

Other key personalities in attendance included media executive Darey Art Alade and Deola Art Alade, filmmaker Tola Odunsi, actress Enado Odigie, costume designer Yolanda Okereke, BBNaija reality TV stars Temi Nkem, Kola Omotosho and Imisi Ayanwale, and media personalities Uti Nwachukwu, Chuey Chu and Hero Daniels.

The new packages, which are available for subscription, bring two new channels, SuperSport KICKOFF and Africa Magic+, to the lower packages, giving more Nigerian homes access to football and homegrown drama.

Under the new structure, DStv packages will comprise Starter, Select, Sports and Premium, while GOtv customers can choose from Easy, Starter, Select and Sports. Starter (₦6,000) adds SuperSport KICKOFF and Africa Magic+ for football and drama. Sports (₦21,000) covers every Premier League and Champions League match, plus WWE and UFC.
