Oyo State and Globacom Launch Digital Traffic Management Initiative – Ravenewsonline

Oyo State Government has partnered with telecommunications giant, Globacom, to revolutionize traffic management in the state.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to develop innovative solutions for traffic management.

According to Chief Ebenezer Ogunwuyi, Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde whom he represented at the event, the partnership will usher in a new era of digitized traffic management in Oyo State.

“As our cities grow and our economy expands, we need innovative solutions to ensure road safety, efficient traffic flow, and seamless urban mobility,” he emphasized.

The Chairman of Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA), Major Adesagba Adekoya (Rtd), praised Globacom’s exceptional reputation for leveraging technology to solve complex challenges.

“We’re confident that their contribution will be transformative and help us achieve a more efficient traffic management system,” he added.

Adeniyi Odejobi, Globacom’s Enterprise Business Lead, South West Region, restated the company’s commitment to providing digital solutions.

“Our partnership will produce a smarter, more efficient OYRTMA workforce, enabling them to connect seamlessly and achieve a smooth traffic management system in the state,” he explained.
