Confusion as Human he@d washes up on popular tourist beach – Ravenewsonline

A hum@n he@d has sparked a major police investigation after it washed up on a beach in Florida.

The discovery was made by a beach worker who was raking the sands at Key Biscayne at around 8:30am on Tuesday morning, Nov. 12.

He called 911, who confirmed the he@d was human and cordoned off a section of the beach while police surveyed the area.

Police told NBC Miami they are treating the incident as a hom!cide and are working with the Medical Examiner to determine the identity of the victim.

It is too early to say whether the he@d is related to any recent cases, including a teenager who recently went missing while swimming in the area, a police spokesperson told the Miami Herald

Local residents have been left horrified by the news.

“You see all kinds of things here but nothing like this, like we saw this morning. The head of a person,” Bahman Amini told CBS News.

“It makes us scared to go to the beach that we love.”

“This is my typical route. Our neighborhood is very safe,” another local told WPLG.

“We have our children here; our children play on these beaches and it’s just beyond belief.”

A woman who was walking on the beach at the time told the outlet that she was swiftly escorted away from the scene by a police officer.

“He signalled with his finger that I needed to turn around immediately,” she said.

    “I understood the assignment.”

No other hum@n rem@ins have been found in the area.
