    ARM’s DAAYTA 2021 Virtual Finalists Pitch Event Holds April 9th, 2021

    ARM has announced that the 2021 edition of the Deji Alli Young Talent Award (DAAYTA) finalists pitch event will hold virtually on April 9th, 2021 due to the current coronavirus realities

    The Deji Alli Young Talent Award (DAAYTA) programme is a youth awards initiative founded in 2015 by ARM in honour of its founding CEO Deji Alli.

    The goal of the award is to provide support to young entrepreneurs with smart and innovative ideas that have a positive impact on people’s lives and the communities that surround them.

    DAAYTA 2021 focuses on identifying start-ups with a minimum viable product (MVP) and at least one customer.

    Having received OVER 500 applications from start-up entrepreneurs and following a rigorous review process, the organisers have selected the top 6 applications that met all the requirements and they are: EduPoint Limited, Natal Cares, Lend An Arm (HealthBotics), Scrapays Technologies Ltd, SALUBATA, and Utiva

    These six will present their pitches virtually to a panel of judges that consists of respected entrepreneurs and seasoned professionals; they include NdidiNnoli-Edozien, Victor Asemota, Sadiq Mohammed, FolasadeOlusanya, Kola and Tomi Davies

    The eventual winner of DAAYTA 2021 shall, subject to the Terms & Conditions, receive funding of ₦12,000,000 (twelve million naira) over a period of one (1) year for the following purposes:

    • Develop their business plan.
    • Complete an entrepreneurial education at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre in Lagos, Nigeria
    • Receive a 5-month acceleration support for development of their venture through by a reputable entrepreneurial hub in Lagos, Nigeria.
