    Police Arrest 10 Over Murder of Benue MACBAN Chairman, Launch Manhunt for Other Suspects

    Benue State Police Command has arrested 10 suspects in connection with the k!lling of the Benue State Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Ardo Risku Mohammed, and another victim, Yakubu Isa.

    The arrests followed an intelligence-driven operation by tactical police teams in Otukpo Local Government Area after investigations into the de@dly attack.

    Authorities described the operation as a major breakthrough, adding that efforts are still underway to track down and arrest other individuals believed to be connected to the k!llings.

    The Commissioner of Police commended the officers involved in the operation and reassured residents of the Command’s commitment to bringing everyone responsible to justice.

    Police also appealed to members of the public to remain law-abiding and continue supporting security agencies with useful information that could aid ongoing investigations.
