The company said the programme is part of its ongoing Y’ellotide season of surprises, which earlier featured the Y’ello Santa tour in six Nigerian cities.

Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Nigeria, said the initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to human connection and community impact.

“The Y’ellotide season is about connecting people to happiness, opportunities and progress. The Y’ello Santa set the pace, and now the Y’ellotide Weddings will bring a tangible, life-changing difference to couples starting their families,” she said.

MTN explained that the weddings initiative is not a conventional sponsorship but a surprise intervention designed to make ceremonies memorable.

Couples residing in Nigeria whose weddings are scheduled between Nov. 29 and Dec. 31, 2025 are eligible to participate.

Interested couples or their friends can register via yellotide.mtn.ng/wedding or MTN Nigeria’s social media platforms.

The company said the programme underscores its role beyond telecommunications, positioning MTN as a brand that celebrates with Nigerians and supports their milestones.
