Former US Vice President Kamala Harris has said she has not decided whether to seek the presidency in 2028, urging voters to focus on the upcoming midterm elections.
Harris addressed the question during an appearance on Keke Palmer’s podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer. Asked about another presidential campaign, she laughed before saying she remained undecided. She stressed that Democrats needed to make significant gains in the midterms before attention shifted to the next presidential ticket.
Harris encouraged voters to participate in the current election rather than focus on the 2028 race. She has previously suggested that another White House bid remained possible, telling the BBC that her nieces might one day see her sitting behind the Oval Office desk.
Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday that her husband, Doug Emhoff, had privately expressed opposition to another presidential run.
