This moment aligns with Facebook’s ongoing efforts to spotlight how young people in Nigeria are using the app daily to connect, find inspiration and grow their creative presence.

“Facebook is a leading place for conversations about cultural moments around the world. We are thrilled to be live at the AprokoNation Fiesta, showcasing how young adults in Nigeria are meaningfully spending their time on Facebook to explore interests, and navigate the life transitions that come with adulthood – from joining Groups to find support for mental health and wellness, following Pages that share tips on healthy living, using Events to discover local fitness classes or wellness workshops, and much more.” said Oluwasola Obagbemi, Head of Communications, Sub-Saharan Africa, at Meta.
