BMP Car Expands Footprint to Togo

Be My Partner Car (BMP Car) Nigerian tech startup has partnered with VOONOV Africans Scale-Up Studio, a Togolese based startup to expand it car-hailing service to the West African country.

BMP Car, a technology ride-hailing transport service using 2-in-1 model, that is, Car Sharing and VIP Taxi on the same platform, which allows users to link-up and join anyone embarking on the same route with them or book an instant ride to their various destinations.

Following the successful launch in Nigeria, the firm is now expanding its business operations to West African countries, starting with Togo.

Ezekiel Ojo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BMP Car, while announcing the opening of Togo business operation at a press conference held in Lagos, on Thursday, said that their target of launching operation in Togo was because of its desire to simplify mode of transportation across Africa and beyond.

According to him, “The Togo business operation will be the first of many to come in our effort in modernizing and making means of transportation across the continent seamless and safe.

“The company will continue to offer the best solution while also serving as a major force in the e-hailing business in Africa and the world.

He added that the Togo business operation will be officially launched on the 9th of September 2021.

Speaking on the long-term partnership with BMP Car expansion in Togo, Assiobo Koffi, Managing Director, Voonov, said the transportation company mission correlates with what Voonov stands to bring innovation to the service of Africa and solve unsolved problems in an innovative way.

Koffi stressed that Voonov company requested for BMP Car partnership for Togo operations, in an attempt of providing solutions to Africa countries’ transportation problems.

According to him, “The BMP Car expansion in Togo start this month and we are also working on how we can penetrate and launch the platform in other Africa countries and create an entirely new, people powered, travel network.

“We are officially launching the service in Lomé to meet the needs of the Togolese population in terms of transportation, reliability and security.

“This service is God send for Togo given the risks related to the reliability and security of transportation in the country.

“To meet this existing need, BMP CAR brings an innovative solution by proposing offers that include VTC and ride share.

“Thank you to BMP CAR for this innovative and useful solution,” he concluded.
