    Cleanbuild.africa Evolves into Climateaction.africa

Cleanbuild.africa is delighted to announce a rebrand representing its shift to a more future aligned approach that will see it more actively participate in climate-related conversations and initiatives across Africa.

A key intended outcome is to represent and advocate for those who do not have a voice, especially underserved communities greatly affected by climate change, thereby ensuring climate justice for all.

Climateaction.africa will focus its strategic direction and objectives to include a more Afrocentric vision of bringing together citizens of Africa, policymakers, diverse stakeholders, cleantech innovators, civil societies, and organizations across different climate-focused verticals either to connect with information and each other, across curated digital and in-person environments.

This evolving strategy will assist in contextualizing and translating the global problem into relatable challenges which can be found all over Africa while ensuring that Africans understand the climate change realities from an African context rather than a western perspective.

Climateaction.africa aims to build an eco-friendly, sustainable Africa through effective collaborations and establishing an enabling ecosystem where initiatives and innovations thrive.

    Key focus areas include:

    • Climate Literacy and Advocacy

    • Incubating and Accelerating Solutions

    • Research and Development

Climateaction.africa will continue to work with partners and collaborators to create indigenous solutions that are easily implementable, affordable and produce accelerated results for the African continent.

Africans need to be fully part of all Climate action related conversations that will ensure fairness, justice and equity for all and climateaction.africa is poised to be that pan-African platform for all Africans.
