The Ibom Blockchain Xperience (IBX), billed as West Africa’s largest blockchain campaign and gathering, will hold its 2026 edition from March 10 to 14 at the E3 Event Center in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Ibom Blockchain Xperience
Organisers say the five-day convergence of fun, technology and networking will unite global industry leaders, policy influencers, investors, founders, developers and digital communities to accelerate blockchain adoption across the region.
The event expands with immersive workshops, multi-chain showcases, developer sandboxes, policy dialogues and real-world Web3 deployment sessions, building on the IBX Tour that has driven grassroots awareness through live crypto payments in local markets.
Over 12,000 attendees and hundreds of founders and companies are expected, positioning IBX 2026 as a major gateway for blockchain projects and exchanges into Africa’s fast-growing ecosystem.
The IBX Tour across Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic and Cameroon has demonstrated practical utility and gained support from global brands, Web3 ecosystems and educational institutions.
Organisers are calling for strategic partnerships, technical collaborators and investors to transform West Africa into a global blockchain hub.
Activities will feature main sessions on DeFi, Web3 tools and digital policy, startup pitch zones, hands-on workshops, exhibition halls with NFT galleries and community events including hackathons and mentorship sessions.
Themed around economic growth, transparency and prosperity, IBX aims to empower African builders and connect innovators to shape Web3’s future.
