Renda Hits $1M Revenue Pre-Funding, Disrupts Logistics Model in Africa

    Renda

Renda, a fast-growing logistics and embedded services company, has revealed it crossed the $1 million revenue mark before securing any external funding, a rare milestone for early-stage African startups in the logistics and tech space.

“We had surpassed $1 million in revenue before raising external capital,” said Ope Onaboye, Co-founder and CEO of Renda. “That milestone wasn’t just a financial achievement, it validated our product-market fit, operational model, and the size of the problem we’re solving.”

Renda operates an asset-light, tech-enabled logistics platform serving both enterprises and mobility operators.

Through its Fulfillment and SCALE business lines, the company connects businesses to warehousing, last-mile delivery, vehicle maintenance, and embedded financial services, without owning a single warehouse or truck.

Since its launch, Renda has supported over 700 businesses across Nigeria & Kenya, including major names in e-commerce, retail, agriculture, and manufacturing.

The company’s embedded approach, where logistics and essential services are bundled into a single platform, has made it a preferred partner for businesses seeking efficiency in fragmented markets.

The company’s growth trajectory, achieved pre-funding, reflects strong demand and operational discipline. “We focused on real customer problems, monetized early, and scaled sustainably,” said Onaboye. “Now, we’re investing in technology and talent to replicate this success across more emerging markets.”

As Renda expands its reach beyond Nigeria & Nairobi, its profitable foundation and scalable model are drawing attention from investors, ecosystem stakeholders, and partners seeking to build resilient logistics and mobility infrastructure across Africa and other underserved regions.
