Technology distributor TD Africa and global technology company Hewlett-Packard (HP) have held an exclusive partner engagement event in Lagos to deepen collaboration and provide businesses with insights into HP’s latest technology solutions.
The event, held on Aug. 26 at the Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, had the theme, “Stronger Partnerships, Smarter Possibilities.”
A major focus of the event was HP’s 2026 product portfolio, with the company’s experts showcasing solutions across Personal Systems, Commercial Notebooks, Commercial Desktops, Z Mobile Workstations and Consumer Notebooks.
Participants also examined the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the workplace and how AI-powered technologies could improve productivity, efficiency and decision-making.
Discussions emphasised the use of AI as a tool to complement human capabilities rather than replace them.
Speaking at the event, Country Manager, HP, Mr Kingsley Osuala, said the engagement was designed to provide partners with a better understanding of HP’s product portfolio and solutions for small businesses.
“HP has so much to offer, from end-to-end experiences for hybrid work, to compute, display, productivity and collaboration,” Osuala said.
Executive Business Coordinator, TD Africa, Mr Ikenna Ekeh, said the partnership with HP went beyond product distribution to providing businesses and partners with the knowledge required to make effective use of technology.
“TD Africa believes that technology becomes truly impactful when businesses have the right solutions, knowledge, and partnerships to unlock its value.
“HP is a global brand that shares this vision, and we are proud to have its innovative portfolio within our product basket.
“We are not simply putting products in the market; we are equipping our partners with all they need to work smarter, grow faster and compete more effectively,” Ekeh said.
The event provided an opportunity for TD Africa’s partners to interact with HP representatives and gain insights into products and technologies targeting evolving business and consumer needs.
The companies said the engagement formed part of efforts to strengthen their partnership and support the adoption of technology solutions by businesses in Nigeria.
TD Africa said it would continue to work with technology partners to expand access to solutions that can help businesses improve operations and competitiveness.
