Shock as Pastor Ken’s Photo Found Attached to Ritual Pot at Demolished Anambra Shrine

Church members, neighbours, and friends reeled in disbelief Saturday after a photograph of Pastor Ken was discovered fastened to an Oke Ite — a traditional ritual pot — during the demolition of shrines at the controversial Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki complex in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.akelicious+2

The shocking find, made amid the government-led razing of native doctor Chidozie Nwangwu’s structures following his court sentencing, has ignited intense community reactions, with many questioning how the image of a supposed man of God ended up in such a setting.

Sources at the scene confirmed the pastor’s picture was tied to the Oke Ite inside the shrine premises, among native pots, images, and other ritual objects being dismantled piece by piece for incineration under the supervision of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo’s security adviser, Mr Ken Emeakayi.

Members of Pastor Ken’s congregation described him as a devoted cleric and community pillar, insisting the discovery defies everything they know about his ministry. Neighbours and acquaintances echoed the sentiment, voicing confusion over how his photograph could appear at a site linked to the “Oke Ite” rituals for which Nwangwu was jailed.

The Anambra State Government operation targeted criminality masked as traditional practice, with the native doctor’s 12-year sentence for conspiracy, fraud, and promoting the rituals capping weeks of scrutiny on shrine-based insecurity.

As of this report, neither Pastor Ken nor his church leadership had issued any public comment on the photograph’s presence or its implications.
