QNET Highlights Maternal, Newborn Health on World Health Day

    QNET

QNET has reaffirmed its dedication to maternal and neonatal health on this year’s World Health Day, themed “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.”

The company promotes maternal well-being and neonatal health through scientifically backed wellness products such as EDG3 Plus, which supports immune function, and the HomePure Nova water filtration system, addressing unsafe drinking water.

Amid troubling global statistics on maternal and neonatal mortality, QNET’s initiatives spotlight preventable causes like infections, poor nutrition, and unsafe water. With Nigeria still battling high maternal mortality rates (512 deaths per 100,000 live births as of 2020), their products provide complementary, accessible solutions.

Biram Fall, QNET’s Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, emphasized the importance of focusing on maternal health as foundational for a healthy society. Local stakeholders agree, recognizing these efforts as impactful in underserved communities.

This initiative underscores the growing importance of corporate contributions to public health in regions with limited access to healthcare and aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3: “Good Health and Well-Being.”
