Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) remains keen on signing Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

However, any January move would require navigating a double release clause tied to the player’s contracts with Napoli and Galatasaray.

Corriere dello Sport also reported that the Old Lady will move for the Nigeria international next month.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in stellar form, scoring ten goals and providing five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions this season.

Despite his recent injury, PSG continues to monitor the 25-year-old striker, with club director Luis Campos—a long-time admirer who worked with Osimhen at Lille—leading the interest.

As per Gazzetta, Osimhen’s deal with Napoli includes a €75 million release clause that becomes active in January.

However, any suitor, including PSG, must also compensate Galatasaray, with Corriere dello Sport reporting that the Turkish club is entitled to an additional €6 million fee to release the player mid-season.

While Galatasaray remains confident of retaining Osimhen until the end of the season, the unique contractual situation leaves his future uncertain, particularly given PSG’s determination to bolster their attack.
