Please pardon me before Trump throws me in jail – Cohen begs President Biden – Ravenewsonline

FILE - Michael Cohen arrives at New York Supreme Court for former President Donald Trump's civil business fraud trial, Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, in New York. Cohen says he unwittingly passed along to his attorney bogus artificial intelligence-generated legal case citations he got online before they were submitted to a New York judge. A former lawyer of United States President-elect Donald Trump has pleaded with outgoing President Joe Biden to grant him a pardon just like he did for his son Hunter fearing the incoming president might jail him.

Cohen is claiming that Trump will punish him for testifying against the politician in his hush money conviction.

Cohen was also the star witness for the prosecution as Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts in the case last year and had already been convicted for his role in the case years earlier.

Cohen served as the middleman for the $130,000 payment Trump made to adult film star, Stormy before the 2016 presidential election.

As Trump returns to the White House in a week, Cohen is calling on Biden to issue a presidential pardon for him before he leaves office, stating that he and others on Trump’s ‘enemies list’ deserved pardons like Biden’s son, who was granted full and unconditional pardon.

“I put in application for the presidential pardon because I believe Joe Biden has the same responsibility to me that he has to his son”, Cohen said.

“I would expect the same exact pardon he gave his son to me and anyone that is on that enemies list whether they want it or not because solitary confinement where I did 51 days sucks.”
