MTN Nigeria recorded major wins at the 2025 CIO & C-Suite Conference & Awards, held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Civic Centre in Lagos.

The company secured three top honours, with its Chief Information Officer, Shoyinka Shodunke, emerging as Overall Best CIO and Tech Champion of the Year, while MTN Nigeria also bagged the TechCo Innovation Excellence Award.
The clean sweep at the annual gathering, organised by The CIO Club Africa and convened by Abiola Laseinde, reinforces MTN’s continued leadership in technology, innovation, and enterprise transformation.

This year’s edition, themed “Tax Meets Tech: Africa’s Leap to a Digital Economy,” brought together executives, policymakers, and innovators shaping the continent’s digital infrastructure.
Although Shodunke was absent, the MTN Nigeria delegation led by Ude Enebeli, General Manager Information Technology Service Management, represented the company seamlessly, an indicator of the strength and depth of MTN’s technology leadership bench.
Industry observers at the event described MTN’s approach as a model of efficiency, noting the company’s adoption of AI-driven processes that have enhanced network reliability and customer experience.
