Justice Nonso Mmadubugwu, Chairman of the League of Online Publishers and Editors (LOPE MEDIA NETWORK) and publisher of Newsonline Nigeria, officially married his longtime partner, Ifunanya Chukwuma, in a dignified court ceremony at the Ikeja Marriage Registry yesterday.

Surrounded by close family members, friends and colleagues from across Nigeria’s digital media community, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony noted for its simplicity and grace. The registry’s historic chambers provided a fitting backdrop as Mr. and Mrs. Mmadubugwu sealed their commitment to one another before witnesses.

“As we mark this new chapter in our lives, I am grateful for the support of my family and the LOPE community,” said Justice Mmadubugwu. “My marriage with Ifunanya reflects the same values of integrity and collaboration that guide our work in online publishing.”

Ifunanya Mmadubugwu, formerly Miss Ifunanya Chukwuma, has been an active supporter of her husband’s professional initiatives and shares his vision for fostering ethical journalism across digital platforms. Together, the couple plans to continue championing media innovation and public engagement.

In a statement following the ceremony, the Executive Council of LOPE MEDIA NETWORK extended its congratulations to the newlyweds and reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the standards of excellence embodied by its chairman. “We wish Justice and Mrs. Mmadubugwu a lifetime of happiness and success,” the Council said.
