Speaking during her session, Sanya reflected on the inner journey of leadership, emphasising that true growth requires transformation from within. “Except a seed falls to the ground and it dies, it abides alone; for growth to occur, death must happen,” she said, illustrating that lasting impact often comes through personal sacrifice.

She explained that every meaningful pursuit begins with a deep, burning desire, noting that “You have an idea that can change the world; maybe something that helps the blind to see, but the question is, do you really desire it? That’s where everything begins.

“Not just wishing, but that burning desire that won’t let you rest. Because when you have that desire, that’s the beginning of transformation..”

In her opening remarks, the host of the Live2Lead conference, Lolade Akande described the Lagos edition as a platform that “connects Nigerian leaders to the global conversation on purposeful influence.”

She emphasised that “leadership is a journey, not a destination. It’s chosen daily; to influence positively, to serve steadfastly, and to build fearlessly,” highlighting her belief that leadership is an active, continuous commitment rather than a title.

The 2025 edition of Live2Lead Lagos reinforced its reputation as a transformative leadership gathering, equipping attendees to lead with purpose, act with integrity, and build a legacy of impact in their respective fields.
