Lagos Scholarship Board CBT: Shortlisted Applicants Await Invitation Emails

The Lagos State Scholarship Board has announced that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted applicants under the 2025/2026 Scholarship Awards will hold soon.

The Board made this known in a statement shared on its official Facebook page on Monday, urging applicants who participated in the 2025/2026 indigene verification exercise to regularly check their email for their official CBT invitation.

According to the Board, the Lagos State Scholarship Board CBT is an important stage of the scholarship selection process, giving eligible applicants an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and aptitude.

The Board said the CBT date, venue, and other requirements would be communicated directly to eligible applicants through their invitation emails.

    What Applicants Should Know

Applicants who attended the 2025/2026 indigene verification exercise across the five divisions of Lagos State are advised to regularly monitor their email accounts, including spam and junk folders, for the official CBT invitation.

Candidates should also carefully read all examination instructions before taking the test, arrive early at their designated CBT venue, dress appropriately, and maintain orderly conduct throughout the exercise.

Applicants are expected to follow all instructions given by CBT officials before and during the examination.

The Board also warned candidates against bringing prohibited materials or electronic devices into the examination hall.

Examination malpractice and impersonation are strictly prohibited. Any applicant caught engaging in malpractice may be disqualified and referred to the appropriate security authorities.

Lagos Scholarship Board Warns Against Fraudsters

The Lagos State Scholarship Board also warned applicants to beware of fraudsters who may attempt to collect money or personal information under the guise of helping them secure the scholarship.

The Board said it does not authorise any individual to demand payment in exchange for participation in the CBT or the award of a scholarship.

Applicants were therefore advised to rely only on information released through the Board’s official communication channels and to avoid anyone promising to influence their selection.

The 2025/2026 Lagos State Scholarship Awards CBT is expected to provide another opportunity for eligible applicants to progress in the scholarship selection process, as the Board continues its efforts to support quality education in Lagos State.
