    Innocent Eneta Shines at Nestle Nigeria Media Awards – Ravenewsonline

    Innocent Eneta, the Editor Daily Global News Print and Online (http://www.dailyglobalnewsng.com.ng), has been recognised for his outstanding contribution to journalism at the 2024 Nestle Nigeria Media Awards.

    Eneta secured the 2nd Prize in the “Best Story on Nutrition” category for his thought-provoking article titled “Combating Malnutrition in Nigeria Through Accessible and Nutritious Food Solutions: A Collaborative Approach”.

    The awards ceremony, held on December 19, 2024, at the 157 Gardens & Event Centre, Ikorodu Road, Lagos, was a vibrant celebration of journalistic excellence.

    Journalists from diverse media organisations gathered to honour professionalism, innovation, and integrity in the Nigerian media landscape.

    Nestle Nigeria announced the winners after receiving 285 entries across seven categories. The “Best Story on Nutrition” category particularly acknowledged impactful reporting on the critical issue of malnutrition in Nigeria.

    Speaking at the event, a Nestle Nigeria representative highlighted the importance of the awards in encouraging responsible journalism.

    “The media has the power to inform, educate, and inspire change. We are proud to celebrate journalists who exemplify excellence in their work,” the spokesperson said.

    Eneta’s winning article explored the persistent challenge of malnutrition in Nigeria, proposing collaborative solutions involving government agencies, private sector players, and non-governmental organisations.

    His work sheds light on the urgent need for accessible and nutritious food for all Nigerians.
