    FirstBank Splashes N4m on Customers in Verve Card Promo

    First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. has rewarded 300 customers to the tune of N4 million in the bank’s current Verve Card campaign.

    The bank said this in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday, FirstBank e-commerce and retail products executive, Mr. Chuma Ezirim.

    Ezirim said that customers were rewarded in the sixth week of the promotion.

    “One hundred customers earned N10,000 airtime and another set of 100 customers earned N10,000 cash for transacting at least twice a week.

    “100 customers won a cash prize of N20,000 for transacting at least four times in the week,” he said.

    Ezirim noted that the promotion was designed to appreciate customers for their continued use and adoption of the card for various digital transactions.

    “We are pleased with the ongoing promotion of the verve debit card designed to appreciate customers for their continued use and adoption of the card for various digitally driven transactions.

    “As promotion is critical to reinforcing the value placed on its versatile capabilities, we encourage continued use of the verve card as it is a card offering that promotes secure, convenient and rewarding digital banking for customers,” said.

    According to him, a total of 651 prizes will be won over the next three weeks in the promotion.

    He said that 200 people would earn N10,000 cash, 300 customers would earn N10,000 in airtime and 300 customers would earn N20,000 cash.

    Ezirim said that 50 customers would win various household items, such as a generator, tabletop refrigerator and gas cooker, or a cash prize of N50,000 every four weeks.

    It said a customer would win the star prize of a new 2022 Suzuki S-Presso car for making 16 transactions during the promotion period.

    The Verve Debit Card is a Naira-denominated debit card that offers convenient, fast and secure payment for goods and services.

    Accepted on all channels connected to the Verve International network where the Interswitch/Verve logo is displayed; Automated teller machines (ATM), points of sale (POS) and the Internet in Nigeria.
