FIFA ban CSKA Moscow over Chidera Ejuke’s Transfer – Ravenewsonline

Football’s ruling body, the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has imposed a transfer ban on Russian club, CSKA Moscow for 18 months.

CSKA was banned due to the unpaid transfer fee to Dutch club, Heerenveen for Super Eagles winger, Chidera Ejuke.

According to FIFA, the transfer ban will only be lifted if CSKA Moscow pay €3m to Heerenveen.

Ejuke, 26, joined CSKA from Heerenveen in 2000 and scored 10 goals in 55 league appearances for the team.

The winger spent time on loan at Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin and Belgium’s Royal Antwerp before leaving CSKA on a free transfer in the summer. He is currently a player of Spanish club, Sevilla.
