Fidelity Bank Plc has rolled out a series of masterclasses and support programs under its HerFidelity initiative to mark International Women’s Day 2026, aiming to equip women with income-generating skills and career-boosting tools throughout March.

Tied to the “Give to Gain” theme, the lineup includes practical training on communication, cultural crafts, and professional branding to foster economic independence.

  • March 18 Masterclass: Focused on public speaking, audience engagement, confidence, and personal branding for stronger professional presence.

  • March 30 Gele Masterclass: Hands-on gele tying sessions to celebrate culture while teaching a marketable skill for income.

  • Headshot Sessions: Free professional photos to refresh personal and career profiles.

  • MoUs and Equipment: Partnerships via HerFidelity Apprenticeship Programme; 1,000 sewing and grinding machines distributed to women-led microbusinesses.

Ugochi Osinigwe, Divisional Head of SME Banking, stated: “Empowering women economically strengthens families, grows businesses, and uplifts communities. These sessions provide immediate, practical tools.”
