    FAAN Unveils Service Charter to Industry Stakeholders

    The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has unveiled the authority’s service charter to stakeholders in the aviation and cargo industry.

    The Managing Director of FAAN, Captain Rabiu Yadudu, at the unveiling of the service charter to stakeholders Thursday, August 26, said it was a new beginning in the industry.

    Yadudu said: “The service charter demonstrates our commitment to providing quality service, communication and support.

    “We are dedicated in promoting a culture of openness, accountability and would equip our staff to be customer-centric and prioritize safety.”

    The FAAN MD explained that efforts must be put in challenging questionable acts in the authority’s service delivery, adding that the recent upgrade and equipment to be installed at the airports.

    He said self-service is becoming increasingly prevalent and many of the world’s major airports have implemented them in some form.

    Yadudu, however, appealed for the understanding of the traveling public as FAAN gears effort in ensuring a seamless facilitation.

    Henrietta Yakubu (Mrs), general manager, Corporate Affairs at FAAN released a statement today, stressing that the installations are in a bid to address recent challenges in airport operations and facilitation management systems at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja respectively.

    The authority have informed airlines, passengers and other stakeholders that the equipment required for addressing these challenges have arrived Nigeria and are already being installed.
