DSS investigates seven Polish nationals arrested in Kano over #EndBadGovernanceProtest

    DSS

Department of State Service (DSS) has confirmed the arrest and ongoing investigation of seven Polish nationals in connection with the violent nationwide protests against hunger and hardship in Kano State.

DSS Spokesperson Peter Afunanya disclosed this during a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and members of the diplomatic corps on Wednesday.

Responding to questions, Afunanya explained that the individuals were detained due to their display of foreign flags in the North-West region amid the protests. He emphasized that the arrests were not a targeted attempt against Polish nationals but part of broader efforts to maintain order and investigate the circumstances surrounding the protests.
