    Court remands man for allegedly defiling his 18-year-old daughter in Lagos

    An Ikeja Chief magistrate’s Court in Lagos on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, ordered that a 36-year-old man, Roland Okajare, be remanded in a correctional centre for allegedly defiling his 18-year-old daughter.

    The police charged Okajare with one count of defilement.

    The prosecutor, ASP Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that Okajare committed the offence on January 4, in his shop at the Ikotun Bus Stop, Lagos.

    The Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, ordered that he should be remanded in Kirikiri Custodial Centre.

    Kubeinje, who referred the case file to the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), adjourned the case to April 12, 2023.
