BBNaija season 9 kicks off with 14 pairs of 28 housemates

The ninth edition of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, kicked off on Sunday night with 14 pairs of 28 housemates who will give viewers premium entertainment for the next 71 days.

Among the first set of housemates to enter the house include Chinwe and Zion who go by the pair name Zinwe, followed by the duo of Sooj and Topher, DJ Flow and Ruthie, Chinne and Nne, a niece and her aunt who are known as Ndi Nne.

Others were Femi and Michky, who are known as Radicals, Shaun and Victoria also known as Shatoria, Wanni and Handi, an identical twins and DJs from Kaduna State.

We also have Ben and Tjay known as Betta, Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh aka Streeze, Kassia and Kelkyrae, Chizuba and Onyeka, Neita , Damilola and her partner known as Tami among others.

This year, we have four identical twins in the house, the Mbadiwe twins and DJ twins from Kaduna, Wanni and Handi.

The housemates are full of life, promising nothing but full drama and entertainment.

This year’s season which is themed ‘No Loose Guard’ is designed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats for the next 10 weeks.

According to the organisers, the 2024 BBNaija promises to be even bigger and better than ever before with several exciting twists and turns.

Some of the highlights to look out for as the show kicked off yesterday with a grand entry will be the house, voting power, the housemates, and many more.

The show again will see housemates bracing up for the challenge to remain in the house for 72 days.

The grand prize for this year is N100 million, including a cash prize and an SUV with additional sponsored prizes to be announced later by the organizers.
