Arsenal Welcomes Manchester United at Emirates While Tottenham Hotspur Plays Brentford as The Battle For The Top Four Continues

After an early lead by Arsenal at Old Trafford on December 2, 2021, Fred’s sensational pass was put behind Aaron Ramsdale by the skilful Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes at the stroke of halftime to equalise the visitors’ goal. It was 90 minutes of fierce football between Manchester United and their London rivals. At 52 minutes, C Ronaldo’s shot was beyond Ramsdale’s reach, but it took only two minutes for M. Ødegaard to equalise the goal.

While Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace earned his team a 3-2 win over Arsenal during their 2021/2022 EPL first encounter, the action returns to Emirates Stadium as Arsenal host Manchester United on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

With just 3 points above 6th placed Manchester United, Arsenal hopes to qualify for the UEFA Champion League for the first time since their last appearance in 2017. But would Erik Ten Hag’s announcement as Manchester United’s new manager that would take over from interim coach Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season revive the struggling Red Devils when they travel to London on Saturday?

This titanic battle for the top four between these two long-time EPL rivals would be live on SuperSport Football (DStv channel 205 and GOtv channel 31) from 12:30 PM. With the Yanga DStv package and the Jolli GOtv package, you’ll watch this fierce battle for the top four without missing a single action.

Brentford vs Tottenham Hotspur will also be live on SuperSport Premier League (DStv channel 203 at 5:30 pm. Last weekend, Tottenham Hotspur succumbed to a 0-1 defeat in the hands of 10 placed Brighton & Hove Albion on April 16. But Antonio Conte’s hope of making the top four is still alive, having the same points as Arsenal. The team would travel to Brentford as Conte’s hopes to make the top four and qualify for the UEFA Champions League is still within reach.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be in the lineup after missing the Tuesday mid-week game after losing his newborn son at birth. In his absence, Manchester United was trashed four goals to nothing by ruthless Mo. Salah and Sadio Mane’s team. But it was Mike Arteta’s Arsenal that produced a stunning masterpiece on Wednesday 20 when they humbled Europe Champions Chelsea with a 2-4 away win in front of their Stamford Bridge fans.

Saturday’s match between Arsenal and Manchester United would go a long way to determine who has a better chance of making it to the top four between these two teams.

Which team is it going to be? It’s the best entertainment for football lovers and there’s something for everyone.
