    Insecurity: Super Tucano Plane Arrives in Nigeria

    The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) took delivery on Thursday of the first batch of six A-29 Super Tucano planes from the United States.

    The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) took delivery on Thursday of the first batch of six A-29 Super Tucano planes from the United States.

    NAF Headquarters Public Relations and Information Director Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet announced in a statement in Abuja.

    According to Gabkwet, the plane arrived in Kano at around 12:34 p.m.

    He added that the officials who received the plane included the Minister of Defense, Major-General. Bashir Magashi (Retired); Chief of Staff of the Army (COAS), Lieutenant-General Faruk Yahaya; and the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Oladayo Amao. (NAN)
