Erling Haaland marked his 300th senior club goal on Saturday by scoring the decisive goal as Manchester City defeated Coventry City 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium to maintain their perfect start to the Premier League season.
The 26-year-old Norwegian striker celebrated the milestone on X after reaching another remarkable landmark in a career defined by his extraordinary scoring rate.
Haaland reached 300 club goals with his 165th strike for Manchester City. His career tally also includes 20 goals for Molde, 29 for Red Bull Salzburg and 86 for Borussia Dortmund.
His landmark goal arrived in the 26th minute when he headed home a cross from Antoine Semenyo, who had been played in by Enzo Fernandez on his Manchester City debut.
The effort proved enough to secure City’s third league victory of the campaign as Pep Guardiola’s side held on for another three points.
For Haaland, the goal added another milestone to an already remarkable career.
The striker has now scored 300 goals in senior club football, with his 165 goals for Manchester City coming in just 202 appearances.
Haaland has continued to break records since arriving at the Etihad, with his goalscoring numbers accelerating at an extraordinary rate.
In September 2024, he became the 19th player in Manchester City history to reach 100 goals for the club. He achieved the feat in just 105 appearances, scoring against Arsenal in a 2-2 Premier League draw.
Five months later, in February 2025, Haaland reached another significant landmark when his goal against Arsenal took his senior club tally to 250 goals in 313 appearances.
At that point, his total consisted of 115 goals for City, 86 for Dortmund, 29 for Salzburg and 20 for Molde.
Since then, he has added another 50 goals to reach the 300 mark, further underlining his status as one of the most prolific forwards of his generation.
His record at Manchester City has been particularly impressive.
Haaland scored 52 goals in his first season at the club in 2022/23, including a Premier League-record 36 goals. He followed that with 38 goals in all competitions during the 2023/24 campaign and 34 in 2024/25.
City also recorded 38 goals from Haaland in 52 appearances during the 2025/26 season.
His journey to 300 club goals began at Bryne in Norway before taking him to Molde, Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund, where he established himself as one of European football’s most feared strikers.
Now with 165 goals in 202 appearances for Manchester City, Haaland’s latest landmark looks unlikely to be the last in what has been a remarkable goalscoring career.
