Nigerian cleric, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has reiterated his claim that Christians in the country are facing what he described as “genocide.”

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo
Speaking in a fresh interview with Channels Television, Dachomo argued that the religious composition of the nation’s leadership reinforces this perception.
He noted that both the President and Vice President are Muslims, which he said amounts to exclusion of Christians in the political space.
“The President is a Muslim, the Vice President is a Muslim. Is that not complete genocide to Christians in the political world?” Dachomo said.
He suggested that the impression could only be corrected if the Vice President were replaced with a Christian.
The cleric’s comments come amid ongoing debates on religious representation in governance and the broader discourse on national unity.
