Microsoft Africa Development Centre to Host EnterpriseCEO Media Master Class

In a move aimed at advancing media training in Africa, Microsoft Africa Development Centre will host this year’s edition of EnterpriseCEO Media Master in its state of the art facility in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The program, which is set to take place on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, will equip media professionals and entrepreneurs with the skills and insights needed to thrive in the ever-evolving media landscape.

The EnterpriseCEO Media Masterclass is a comprehensive program that covers a wide range of topics related to media, journalism, entrepreneurship, and technology and will be led by industry experts, experienced journalists, and media strategists.

The masterclass will offer a unique blend of theoretical knowledge, real-life case studies, and hands-on exercises to enhance learning and practical application.

Under the theme of the Masterclass “Navigating The Future of Journalism: Ethics, Entrepreneurship and Technology”, the training is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape, foster entrepreneurial thinking, and empower them with practical skills to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

By participating, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape, acquire practical skills in journalism, entrepreneurship, digital media, and marketing, develop an entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving abilities to learn from industry experts and seasoned professionals through interactive sessions and case studies, network with like-minded individuals, media mentors, industry leaders, receive personalized guidance and feedback on their media-related projects or business ideas.

Participants in another session of the training will be allowed to use the Microsoft Garage to unleash their creativity and work on media related projects. Microsoft Garage encourages a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and innovation within the company.

The EnterpriseCEO Media Masterclass is expected to attract 60 – 70 participants from across media platforms.

The Centre’s effort to support the training underscores the importance of collaboration to advancing media training and development in Africa.

The program is expected to have a positive impact on the media industry in Africa by equipping participants with the skills and insights needed to navigate the ever-evolving media landscape.
