    Kidnapped Pantami’s Son Found in Bauchi

    Ali Isah Ali, a 14-year-old son of Isah Ali Ibrahim Pantami, minister of communications, who was kidnapped late Thursday in Bauchi has been found.

    Ali was kidnapped shortly after closing from an Islamiyya school.

    His captors whisked his way on a bike.

    The boy who has been under the custody of his mother in Bauchi is a JSS 2 student of a private school.

    Ali was kidnapped on Thursday in the evening after closing from school.”.

    Ali’s mother in a WhatsApp post to the PTA platform of the school confirmed the abduction.

    The message which was posted at 10:29 pm on Thursday said; “My son was kidnapped, please include him in your prayers.” The boy was later found at a location along Dambam road.

    In a phone conversation yesterday, Ali’s mother said he was found at a checkpoint and was at home as at the time of the phone conversation.

    “He was found at a checkpoint. Some people brought him home. He is fine,” she said.

    When contacted for comments, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, police spokesman in Bauchi State, said they were working on the matter.
