    What Nigerians Searched for in 2024 – Google Report – Ravenewsonline

    Google Nigeria on Tuesday unveiled its 2024 Year in Search, highlighting top searches, trending personalities, music, movies and questions that captured Nigerians’ attention.

    According to Google, searches related to the US elections, new national anthem and national grid topped the news category.

    The search engine giant also revealed that Nigerians showed keen interest in personalities like Bobrisky, Shallipopi and Khaid.

    In the music scene, “I Don’t Care” by Boy Spyce, “Ozeba” and “Commas” by Ayra Starr were the most searched songs.

    Nigerians also searched for movies like “A Tribe Called Judah”, “Treasure In The Sky” and “Damsel”, while “Supacell”, “My Demon” and “Queen of Tears” topped TV series searches.

    Google’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager, West Africa, Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, said the 2024 Year in Search reflected Nigerians’ interests and conversations.

    “The results offer a unique perspective on what Nigerians searched for and were interested in during the year,” Kola-Ogunlade said.
