    TAJBank Receives ISO Certifications for Service Excellence – Official

    TAJBank Nigeria Limited, a leading Nigerian interest-free banking service provider, has received three certifications from the International Standards Organization (ISO) for its commitment to assuring customer security, service excellence, and resiliency from business operations.

    The bank’s founder and managing director, Hamid Joda, said in a statement Tuesday.

    Joda said the recognition, Global (CPG), came on the heels of numerous other national and international awards accumulated in the past three months.

    “The latest TAJBank certifications include ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 20000 standards on information security, business continuity and IT service management systems.

    “They demonstrate the bank’s commitment to prioritizing business operations resilience, customer safety and service excellence at all times,” he said.

    He added that the issuance of the ISO 27001 certification to TAJBank also demonstrated its assurance to clients that it had duly applied the relevant information security controls, to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of client information.

    “ISO 22301 is also proof that TAJBank’s business operations are conducted with best practices to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from unexpected and disruptive incidents.

    “Similarly, ISO 20000 shows that TAJBank turns IT into a business enabler, through a strong service management system in the delivery of IT-related services, and also regularly optimizes technology for its current and future needs. “, He said.

    Joda assured that the bank’s management was fully aware of the risks and impact of using technology to drive business.

    “This requires us to become increasingly aware of our roles and responsibilities to ensure that we actively play our role in complying with international best practices and standards,” he said. .

    Meanwhile, TAJBank Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer Sherif Idi has said the bank was one of the few banks in the country that has been successfully integrated and has passed three rigorous management standards.

    “This certification has further positioned and strengthened TAJBank’s quest to continually drive our digital banking strategy for world-class fictitious services that enable our clients’ security, excellent services, and comply with regulatory requirements,” he said.
