Resident Doctors suspend nationwide strike

NARD

Members of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) have suspended the nationwide strike.

The group had embarked on a strike since July 26 over the failure of the federal government to implement the demands of its members.

Confirming that the strike has been called off, NARD’s President Emeka Orji said;

“Good evening. We just suspended the strike. Work to resume 8 am tomorrow. We will review the progress made in two weeks.”
