NITMA 2021: Konn3ct’s Parent Company, Newwaves Ecosystems Nominated for IT Company of the Year Award

Newwaves Ecosystems Limited, a Nigerian tech start-up and Promoters of versatile KONN3CT webinar an online meeting platform has been nominated as best IT Company of the Year 2021 category at this years National IT Merit Award (NITMA Award).

NITMA Award is an annual event organized by Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) to acknowledge, celebrate and reward corporate organizations and individuals who are committed and outstanding in their various Information Technology (IT) practice and have also contributed immensely to the development of the profession in Nigeria.

This years Award comes up on November 18th, 2021 at the prestigious Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos.

For the first time in the history of NITMA, a Fintech is among the nominees for the Best IT Company of the Year.

Speaking about the nomination, Mr. Femi Williams, Chief Enabling Officer of Newwaves, said:  “we feel highly honoured to have been so nominated in the Category of the best IT Company, it is an open declaration by our Professional colleague that we are doing something right.

“This nomination will surely encourage us to do more for our industry and Mankind in general”

This year NITMA will be celebrated with fun and excitement at MUSON center from 5pm.

Other activities include Induction of new Fellows, award of the Digital Governor of the Year and the Prestigious IT personality of the year.
