National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has declared Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, wanted.

The agency, in a statement on Friday, June 27, 2025, said the controversial singer is wanted for alleged r3pe, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

The statement urged the general public with useful information on his whereabouts to contact the agency.

“Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including r3pe, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

“Anyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact NAPTIP immediately. Call: 07030000203. [email protected]. Shortcode: 627. Let’s work together to ensure justice is served,” the statement read.

NAPTIP earlier summoned the singer for questioning over his claim that he once had s3x with a 15-year-old girl in a hotel but he failed to appear at its headquarters in Abuja.

Speed Darling stated this in video which quickly went viral, triggering widespread outrage from Nigerians, who accused him of statutory r3pe.

The singer later made a u-turn, claiming that it was all a publicity stunt to promote his music.

Social commentator, Isaac Fayose later disclosed that the girl mentioned in the video intends to file a formal complaint with the police.
