Lagos ADC LGA Chairmen Pass Vote of Confidence on Ashiru Ahead of April Congress

All 20 Local Government Chairmen of the African Democratic Congress(ADC)Lagos State Chapter, have moved a vote of confidence on the Chairman of the party in the State, Hon. Engr. George Ashiru and his team ahead of the Congress of the party happening this April.

The Chairmen rose from their crucial meeting this morning held at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, which reviewed the state of the nation and the ensuing Congresses and Convention of the party and reaafirmed their confidence in the Ashiru-led Executive Committee.

Speaking through their Chairman, Hon. Ugochukwu Anaere, the Lagos ADC Chairmen stated: “We the entire Local Government Chairmen of ADC Lagos, hereby, wish to attest to the positive leadership roles of our State Executive Committee led by Hon. George Ashiru.

“For their untiring efforts at stabilizing the party, welcoming all coalition partners and ensuring equity and transparent governance of ADC Lagos, we hereby pass a vote of confidence on Hon. George Ashiru and his team.

“We thank our State Chairman for being a good role model, a fair leader, a superb mediator and conflict resolver, a true father to the party and a detribalized Nigerian and we want to appreciate his principle-centred servant-leadership model which inspires us to do better and do more in the interest of the party and the country.”

All 20 Chairmen were available to sign the solidarity document.
