Kira Taiwo, daughter of late veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has expressed deep grief following the death of her father.
Kira shared the emotional tribute on her Instagram page on Thursday, lamenting the pain of losing her father and the reality of no longer being able to embrace him.
“My daddy. THE BEST. I can’t even get a hug anymore… This is what heartbreak means, mehn,” she wrote.
She also revealed that one of her biggest regrets was that her father did not live long enough to meet her unborn child.
“I love you, Daddy, but I just wanted more time, more time, more timeeee to meet my second baby. Thank you ooo TAIYE,” she added.
The tribute came days after Kira shared a private message exchange with her father, dated July 26, in which the actor encouraged her to remain strong and avoid crying.
Ogogo had reportedly told her that seeing her and her sisters smile gave him strength, adding that he would become sad if she cried.
“Be strong. I am strong… don’t cry, my princess,” he wrote.
The veteran actor died on August 23 at the age of 66 after battling stage-four cancer.
